IFACSTA Member PD Opportunity Below!

Each month this year we are offering *FREE* professional development workshops to our members, as a benefit of your membership. 

January PD: Past-President, Kay Smith, will be hosting a workshop entitled, “Eating for Optimal Health – New Research Findings” on Thursday, January 26 from 4-5 p.m. via Zoom. February PD: Monica Nyman from the St. Louis Dairy Council, will be hosting a workshop entitled, "Myths and Facts about Dairy" on Tuesday, February 28th from 4-5 p.m. via Zoom. Save the date and be watching for a registration link to this workshop!

Future Career and Technical Education Conferences!

  • ​93rd Annual IACTE Conference: February 16th and 17th, 2023 in Bloomington, IL - www.iacte.org/cpages/iacte-annual-conference
    • The Call for Presentations is now open the the 93rd Annual IACTE Conference - Connecting Passion to Opportunity. The conference will be held February 16 - 17, 2023, at the Bloomington/Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. At this time, we are planning an in person conference without a virtual component. Hopefully, you will present and share best practices with CTE educators in the State of Illinois. Presentations from business and industry are also encouraged. Presenters must submit their presentation through this link: IACTE Call for Presentations. Presentations should center around: technology, career planning, career pathways, work based learning, skill training, pedagogy, working with special populations, New Illinois Learning standards, evaluation/assessment, business partnerships, specific subject matter lessons and leadership. (not an all inclusive list). The deadline to submit a proposal is October 15, 2022. However, presentations will be  accepted a few weeks after this date if session slots are still open. **NOTE: IFACSTA is seeking six presenters to represent our organization at this conference! Apply today!!**​
